Video footage of the incident from home security footage was also released, with it showing a man striking a woman on a couch. Palmer also claimed that Jackson had not only been physical with her, he had also been emotionally abusive and manipulative throughout their two-year dating period.

"Many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck, descriptions of Darius destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting my in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse."

The lengthy document also stated that the former couple had finally called it quits in October 2023, months after the mom-shaming incident on social media. Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order and sole custody.

Darius Jackson responded by filing a reply, stating that Palmer was the aggressor in the relationship. According to the documents obtained by PEOPLE, Palmer "engaged in abusive conduct during the two-and-a-half-year relationship," subjecting him to both "physical and verbal abuse."

Many other allegations were made against Keke Palmer by Jackson. However, developments in their case are yet to be revealed.
